Have to make sure you get the exact right spread. I ordered mine from the dealer and was out by 2". Had to reorder. There is also two different diameter torsion bars.....one for 40K and another for 46K.

    OLDSKOOLERnWV and Oxbow Thank this.

Well guys here's ya'll a sneak peak at what I'm starting with.... Don't ya'll be making fun of it now doggonit.. lol :D It is a W900 L series which is what I prefered, Cummins big cam with a N14 air to air setup on it, 13 spd. Not sure what gears are in it yet.... But here a few pics of the suspension, if you can give me some insight I would sure appreciate it. Thanks. Gotta do a little fixing and a little cleaning but when I'm done it will be to my approval. Main thing is all them darn purple knobs and switch things somebody put all over dash!! Good grief.

    Definitely the AG100 there.

Edit: Good grief. Someone tried making a Peterbilt out of that KW. What with all them purple switches and what not.

I'm looking for a truck like that Oldschool. Good find.

On the Ag100....where the round "U" shaped torsion bars bend 90 and pass through the big brackets.....that's where the plastic (or nylon or polyethelene or whatever) bushings are and they like to wear out. If you get someone to rock the truck back and forth you can see how much play you have. It's almost a guarantee that they need doing. Not a real bad job although getting the bolts out might be tough if it's been a while.

Not sure if you've had a KW before but you can go the plumbing store and get a black ABS 45 or 90 degree elbow. It will slide right on the heater outlet and direct the warm air toward your foot on the cold days....that is if you have cold days down there. That's the $2 Canadian cold climate package. :)

Thank you Rank. Went to local KW Dealer this morning where my cousins husband works, gave him the number from the truck and it is indeed a factory glider. was built last of 94,and titled 1st of 95, set up for a Cummins engine. He gave me all the info on truck right down to the passenger power window. It has Rockwell rears in it, I will find out more about them after while. It needs a bumper but that is Mickey Mouse stuff to me, serious things first then the spiffy parts....lol. Raining in my neck of the woods, ya'll be careful out there.

Glider huh? I wondered why it had a big cam.....would have thought N14...at least that's what our '95 T600 had in it. My 359 has Rockwell SQ100 rears.

If the long bolts clamping the torsion bars are in an aluminum block and haven't been out in some time they can be aggravating to get out. Steel bolts, aluminum spacers, salt, and no Neverseize are not a good combination. I am sure you know that.Just a heads up. In May of 2013 somebody have a nice looking W9 60" flat top with a Cat for sale in your neck of the woods. It went off the Truckpaper but I don't know what became of it. I was set on buying a W9 with a Detroit so I passed. I was also wanting a southern truck. I did find one.

World wide told me this morning it was ordered specifically for a Cummins engine.... Could have been a N14 but it has a 855 Big Cam in it with the N14 air to air instead of a aftercooler. All stuff I can work on without a dang guy with s computer charging me big money, the thought of that just blisters my back side!!
