I recently purchased a w900 glider with a 12.7. I remember my old 12.7 I change the air filter about every other oil change. Do these filters have to be changed every so often? There are 2 of them of course.....

Might look into a Fleet Air filter. Will get you better air flow and thy are reusable.

I have a 379 Pete and change them once a year, but they never really look that bad.

Once a year, prefer to change in spring after road salt and chemical season is over.

I used to change the paper filters every 3-4 months. I have Fleet Air filters now and I only wash them 2 or 3 times a year and even right before I washing them I can hardly get the restriction gauge to move when I'm drawing enough air to make 60+ pounds of boost.
I also had trouble finding the oil at first so when I did find a place that sold it, I just bought a case. I literally have enough to last me 10 years for an investment of a little over $100Truemac, Bean Jr., Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this. -
Once a year . Twin air cleaners on a westernstar. Every other oil change sounds really excessive for a hwy tractor.
