    Hi guys & gals

    I have just been reading our morning paper & see that Mainfreight (mainly late) :biggrin_2559: a large New Zealand trucking co has bought out Target Logistics in the states, whats Target like? Mainfreight are all owner drivers here I have heard that Mainfreight arn't the best to work for.

    Target is a large, national chain of department stores. Their DC's (Distribution Centers) are decent places to deliver to, at least they were for me, the carrier I used to drive for we would drop and hook and be on our way! Their trailers are well maintained, and most look pretty new.

    Their outbound freight is handled by a bunch of different carriers, but talking with drivers from Dart Transport (an Owner Operator Co.) they do drop and hooks at the stores as well. Can't beat that!
