They might start you as a team. They might not. Your trainer is suppose to be up front at least the first week. Getting a good trainer is a hit or miss. But you do not have to put up with any trainers that's not doing their job. You can get another one.

 

It's a person that you have to talk to once a week to get paid while in training. Who ever that is call them. They will work with you to get another trainer if you just can't work it out with him. In Lancaster they push it hard that you do not have to put up with a bad trainer.

 

You will be fine.

Today was the last day for the lease class. We got a 500 bonus. The ceo came in and talked to us. Is seems pretty genuine. He really want drivers to do well. He's very direct and straight forward. We had a talk with safety, dispatch and payroll. WI'll be back on the road in the morning. Got a load that a team is bringing in. Going to take that down to laredo. This load is to just get me by the house. Not to impress with the pay. Could be more but doing this until my contract is up. I'm down to 1800 left to owe. So far this company has been smooth sailing. Not saying they don't have any screw ups. But they usually get worked out pretty quick.
