I had a phone interview today.
local delivery route, about $28 an hour. 8-12 hour shifts Monday-Friday. 3-6 AM start times depending on route. Benefits seem decent, pay is better, it’s a little further from home. Most everything takes effect after 60 days. Sign on bonus of $1500 but you have to pay $870 in union fees on your 61st day. And then approximately $66 a month to the teamsters. I have never been union, never worked anywhere that had one. That’s one thing that’s kinda holding me back, can someone help me with the union stuff?
Kohl wholesale.

If you don't want to join the union , go work somewhere else.

Vacation/ PTO/ Sick leave really sucks either. Gotta be there 2 years to get anything. But still m-f is better than 6-7 days a week at Sysco

I don’t know. I don’t know what they do, who they are I know nothing about who I’m being told I have to give almost $900 and then $70 a month. I’m trying to figure that out.

With crappy benefits??? The union can go f themselves.

Benefits ain’t bad. But the vacation and time off really blows.

Take the job. Go to work, do what they ask of you and stay out of trouble. I did it for 19 years, had good benefits and got a pension when I retired!
