Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.
Patrick, you'll probably get a lot of replies to this. Not actually a spinoff of Knight, but sort of a contractor/partner. Kool was started a few months ago and is headed by Central Refrigerated's former CEO. I believe he teamed up with Knight for "buying power". That's just generally speaking. I'm sure there's folks on here willing to share specifics and details.

Website is kind of bare bone at the present time http://kooltrans.com/
The say they are part of the KNIGHT FAMILY near the last page of their pay /benefit package
And in a financial story about KNIGHT
In the second quarter of 2014 Knight Transportation formed a new entity, Kool Trans, LLC (Kool Trans). Kool Trans is a full truckload temperature-controlled transportation company created to be attractive to professional drivers while providing high quality consistent service to our customers. We hired a former CEO of a large temperature-controlled truckload transportation company to lead and grow this business. Kool Trans will be marketed and operated separately from our Knight Refrigerated business. Through Kool Trans, we plan to provide additional refrigerated capacity to the market through a fleet of new trucks as well as our network of third-party carriers through our truckload brokerage.
Thank you Clyde07, and Flatbed, I checked out there website, granted, I would never work for Knight, at one time back in the 90s, they were a good company, I had friends of mine that worked for them,no real complaints, back then. What I'm looking for is a good reefer company, with good equipment, and pay, that will run me coast to coast. No micromanagement, give me info and I'll run.. Not much to ask,you would think. I'm currently working in the oil patch in Nd. The road is calling. So any ideas on a company, that will run me,and trucks go at least 70? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.Last edited: Dec 28, 2014
Patrick, I can't tell you first-hand anything good or bad about either of these, but you may want to see what you can find out about Martin's Milk Service and Sue Vinje Trucking. Or, hoping Chinatown sees this and dials in. Better yet, send him a message.
Thx Clyde07 will check in Monday.

Holland Enterprises Inc. and they have Tripac APU's.
Lessors Inc. same. Tripac APU's.
Clyde07 mentioned Sue Vinje Trucking; beautiful equipment. I don't know their traffic lanes as far as coast-to-coast. Same with Pride Transport.
Don't know about the 70 mph trucks anywhere except Tyson Foods. Maybe some smaller outfit. Hard to find that anymore.
Try Jim Palmer Trucking; Wil-Trans bought them not too long ago, but don't know the speed policy. Call Wil-Trans and ask.Last edited: Dec 29, 2014
I work for a small reefer/dry Van. Trucks are set anywhere from 68-75 and all the miles you want I did 4k last week. Start pay is anywhere from .38-.45 depending on experience pm me for more info if you want. I have a thread in the favorite teucking company forum. A good log of my experience
They require 2 years experience OTR
