    some one tell me how to unhook the egr from my isx please 288 egr fault codes

    No matter what, if you unhook it you're going to get codes. 2 plugs on the EGR valve, one position sensor and the other for the stepper motor. Only way to remove EGR and not have any codes is to have your ECM flashed w/ aftermarket programming.
