I am not exactly sure what to do they kicked me out of my internation and gave me a t660 brand new.
I weight my load with 30 thousand on the tandems and 30 thousand on the drives I am still over on the steers because it will weigh 12600 or around that weight
I have my 5th wheel all the way back. I also have tires rated at 13200
my shop tells me to go off the tire rating
my safety department tells me to go off the rand mcnally atlas steer weight
my problem is if I listen to rand mcnally I am overweight in a couple states and thats a big problem
KW t660 overweight on steers

12k,34k,34k...slide your tandems it's only 600lbs to move. Or are you already slid as well as your 5th wheel being all the way back?
-
no I mean with the tandems all the way up I am still overweight on the steers
these new kw's are front heavy
my 5th wheel is slid all the way back
tires and axel rated at 13.2 k pounds -
If you are able to slide your tandems 2 holes that should make the difference.
-
My advice is go off the GAWR. If the axle is rated for 12k don't press your luck. I tried to fight 300lbs in va one time with the 13k tires story and I was told "press hard, its 5 copies".scatruck Thanks this. -
no matter what load I haul
5th wheel all the way back
tandems all the way forward and 20k in the box
still overweight
all of our trucks do this -
Not sure. Have the company accept the overweight.
