Heading northbound on 1-65 Monday early morning, near Bowling Green,My Wife and I observed a 4 wheeler rolling northbound on southbound hammer lane shoulder. Along the wall at 50+ mph. After winning a game of chicken with one Trooper, they continued, a second Trooper rolling south, lights on NO siren, spotted the 4 wheeler, passed a pick up Truck, ( rolling in middle lane) on the right and made a u turn right ( left turn) in front of them. Driver, a 63 year old Woman was killed, husband survived. State Police reported to News,” Officer was passing multiple vehicles, with lights AND siren on, and hit the pick up.” We were the only witnesses around. Saw it all. Technically the pick up hit the side of Trooper, but Trooper definitely caused it. What would most of you do? I’m curious. I want to call their Lawyer, and definitely will, if State Police blame the pick up Driver. We’re trying to follow the case. Any updates on info is appreciated, Otherwise I’d rather just MYOB.

call the news media that reported on that crash, and talk to them.

why let the trooper get away with killing an innocent person, and disallowing that family to collect money from the state, and maybe the trooper himself.??

no one is above the law.

A quick search yesterday, pulled up a similar story from 2 yrs ago, We mistakenly thought it was the same accident. Can’t find any info, not sure exactly where we were, somewhere between 90 mm and 120 mm. I agree, I want to be sure, the story didn’t get whitewashed.

OK, I started a wrong thread, got this thing all messed up. The accident happened on 10-7-19 about 2:00 am. Not sure if Trooper or Local was involved. Can’t find any info. My apologies.

    No harm done.

No need to apologize. A little bit of Google takes care of that.

    Roll on.

    Coffey Thanks this.

Nowadays, if you weren't involved, I'd probably stay out of it. Cops rarely lose in court.
