Funny enough, I met up with a guy who I was at Bison with in Texas! He’s been at Landstar since 2019, and showed me some stuff. He has his own trailer, so doesn’t seem to have an issue in Laredo.

Correct. And they are AFU. Takes 45 minutes just get in. 45 to get out. No scale. Love's is just around the corner, but it's on the busiest street in Texas. So that's another good 30 minutes if you don't weigh.

They loaded me 4500, not 450, over on my tandems once.

    Once.

Went back, left the #### on there dock.

Don't go into that terminal unless you're some sort of sadomasachist.

I'll go to Laredo all day, as long as it's not in the terminal.

Hey everyone learns, some the easy way, some the hard way, but everyone learns.

I posted that on their FB page. No less than a dozen people chimed in, in about 15 min minuets, photos of F/U scale tickets, etc., same stories as my own.

The US has been buying literally everything they can get their hands on from up here, and the amount of US drivers willing to come to Canada has dropped to the lowest levels ever (don't blame them). Its easy to get down to the US, coming back to Canada is almost impossible. Glad I'm Canada only turnpike now.

I seriously hate running Canada, couldn't imagine what it's like doing it with turn pikes

My Saving Grace, is I'm on a dedicated scheduled run. I know exactly where I'm going to be, and roughly when. If I was open board or Canada only OTR, I would have quit by now. I only park overnight in 1 truck stop a week, the rest of the time I'm at home; or in company yards with facilities.

I ran up that way a few times years ago, never again. Winter ip there SUCKS and services and parking are still bad by the looks of it. As I said before, we are pretty spoiled ontario east, lots of parking, good food, and the weather is better, at least somewhat warmer and not as snowy.
