    What do the loads look like on the Landstar broker board these days? Does it still seem like rates are extremely low? Can anyone give me some examples of posted loads or loads they have taken recently. I am trying to gauge how the market is if i were to sign on with them.

    Last year I sent through their website a request for more information. They sent via snail mail a folder with what they offered as well as printouts for loads within a 150 or 200 mile radius of our house for both van and flatbed trailers, including their going rates etc., more or less what you'd see for their load board if you sign with them. Maybe contact them and see if they still send that out or what not, may help you get an idea of what they offer.
