What's that about self fulfilling prophecies: if you think it's impossible, it is impossible.
If you never ask for a over the top rate, you won't ever get it.[/QUOTE]
I thank this a thousand times!!!!!
I don’t always get what I quote but, I am surprised more often than not what I CAN get?DSK333 Thanks this. -

Okay, I hate to be a doubting Thomas, but 130k to 140k on 55-60 hours a week?
I'm pretty sure UPS line-haul rate for my area is about $28 to $30 an hour. So, let's look at it this way:
$30 x 40 hours= $1200
$45 x 15 hours= $675 (O.T.)
Gross = $1,875
50 weeks @ $1,875=$93,750
Now, I'm sure there's some some additional accessorial pay, but $37,000 to $47,000 a year extra? What am I'm missing here?
Besides, 55-60 hours a week? Week after week?spyder7723 Thanks this. -
We are not talking ups freight. It was $32 in 2012 probably $1 hour ever year in raises mileage now is $82 cents plus couple hours of OT every day. $2500-2800 a week adds up quick. After 10 years there I kind of know how the place works.

You are free to not believe anything you want. Unless a guy is on call he works the same set schedule 5 days a week. Like I said 55-60 hours a week is very common. It is one place where they are always offering OT and when they don't get volunteers then they force from the bottom up.
