At one time Landstar had a pocket sized book with all their agents listed along with their contact information. They stopped publishing it several years ago. Not too long ago you could find agents on their website. I believe they also stopped that as well. It is a shame. Both were good tools that could be utilized by BCO's and carriers to find agents when they had a truck available.

Thanks. I thought that they took access from everyone other than corporate. It would be nice if they one again made it accessible to those who broker freight thought them.

Landstar brokers a lot of their freight. I don't know the percentage as compared to BCO's, but they could not move nearly as much freight if they totally relied on their BCO's. Landstar is not alone. Most of the major carriers rely on others to move their freight other than their company drivers and owner operators. Since that is the case, it would be good if Landstar made it easier to find their agents. -
