Hi all , does anyone know or want to guesstimate how long to get your NY Hut sticker mailed to you.I called the permit department and the sent out the application.Thanks Steve

 

Can't remember. Mine is still in the envelope.

 

Might be able to have them email something you can present while waiting for sticker.

 

I am hoping so soon, there"s alot of nice loads up that way. Permits says the ball is in NY hands now.

 

In orientation today. I have a question...I've heard you get your pay quicker if you have it loaded on your card instead of getting it direct deposit to your bank. Can anyone give me advice on this? My bank acts like they don't know what a comdata check is..

 

You will set up direct deposit during orientation. Initiate transfers over the phone.
You can get about a 40% advance on a load.

 

You'll get 2 Comdata cards. One for fuel, one for your settlements. The one for your settlements will be set up with a direct deposit feature to your bank.

 

Your settlement only goes to your Comdata card. Then you order a direct deposit from Comdata to your bank. You do this yourself with a phone call every week. Typically, I can see my settlement statement on LS's website by 08:00 every Thursday. The funds are loaded on my card by noon. Then my bank shows a pending deposit and funds available by the following afternoon.

Do you have to actually go to your bank for the direct deposit or can you do it all over the phone? Someone said we'd have to go to the bank and cash the comdata check then make the deposit.
