Laramie to Round Rock, TX

    Sitting here at the Petro in Laramie and this is a route I've never done. 287 down to I-25 but after that...hmm. 70 to I-135 in Salinas, KS would be the long way. Is it worth even messing with some of those other routes or nah.

    This is the route I would take. Just cruise through Denver at night. No fussing with small towns, narrow roads, or stopping to go left or right. Your only real climb is the south end of I-25 in Colorado.

    Find an HEB to park at along 287 and you can stock up on groceries.

    Texas Hill Country is a pain with a heavy load or any load. I-35 is the way to go

    That's exactly the route I would take. The only stretch of it I'm not familiar with is from Winters to Brownwood, but I'm sure it's probably an easy drive.
