Wabush and Labrador City features a harsh subarctic climate, with heavy year-round precipitation due to the strong Icelandic Low to the east driving cold, moist and unstable air onto the region. Snowfall, as is typical for the province, is very heavy for seven months each year and depths can reach as high as 218 centimetres (85.83 in)
I'll take preparedness.

WE moved a lot of 12 foot x 60 foot long camp building and lots of lowbed loads with jeeps and boosters from Edmonton to Happy Valley (Goose Bay) Labrador 2 and 3 years ago and never had any problems at all except 1 truck was in a KW dealer in the middle of nowhere for about 3 hours. I'll try and find the location of the KW dealer.
