    Hi,

I have a slight case of Lazy eye or exotropia in my left eye. My optomotrist says that corrected my vision is 20/20 in each eye, though my left eye is still isn't nearly as good as my right eye. Can anyone think of a reason I might be concerned about this for the pysical- either the DOT's or swift's? She offered to write me a letter saying it wasn't a problem if necessary.

    Thanks

I have what is called a fighters eye. I fought full contact for 10 years. My eyes do not line up. I have optic nerve damage. I can not wink or close one eye at a time. One eye tries to dominate the other. This is corrected with glasses. Sounds like you have the same situation. Just a different reason. I have never had a problem passing a test. When I cover one eye to test each eye it takes me a few moments to focus. I just tell the examiner I need a moment to let my eye focus.
