I've been trucking for a few years and IM gonna look into leasing from my company. I need to know if there's any books or websites with info on all the aspects of running a truck. I've learned a lot over the past few years but I would like to have a reference. I get different info about the same subjects from everyone I talk to . No lease haters please.

Profit gauges is a good place to start. Are you a company driver now? Do you run your truck like it was yours? Are you tracking your mpg? Whats your company pay? Loaded and empty or percentage? Take your miles for the week and figure it out and minus your expenses. Try running your truck at 58mph for a week and seeing what your mpg's are. ooida has a good calculator on their website. Api has good resources for state fuel tax rates. Most important know what your break even or must earn is.
