Hi there, just catching up to this thread. I'm interested in leasing my truck. Could you share info on the company you're using? Your numbers seem pretty decent.

    Thank you

Should be some outfits locally looking for O/Ops... Look for small carriers, they will normally pay better than the big guys. I would look at expediting, automotive freight. Here are two...

    Premium Transportation Logistics
    5445 Southwyck Blvd # 210,
    Toledo, OH 43614
    Phone: (419) 861-3430

    Expeditus Transport, LLC
    Sylvania, OH
    Phone: (419) 464-9450

They both run through your neighborhood. When business is good, $5000 + a week is the norm. They run MI, OH, IN, KY, TN, MS mostly automotive, rarely fill the trailer, normally under 15,000 lbs.

    Give them a call.

    > I run for a very small company called Kelley Transportation. Marco is the dispatcher/load planner and he is very good at watching the lanes/money trends. we are averaging @ $2.60-2.80 a mile gross last week.
I have been doing this for just shy of 30 yrs and i have done dispatching and planning. So believe me, he does know how to make it work. I believe he said he had 1 truck hit $8500 in under 5 days last week, and that is with ELDs and a single driver......
    You can't beat that crap

Same here, there are good outfits to lease on with out here. I forget what I did last week, but it was around $2.50 a mile NET after fuel, went to work Monday afternoon and was home on Friday. I'm in the beer, drove around 2000 miles. They are out there... ;-)
