Hey guys, I’m thinking I want to lease on somewhere until I learn meme about the industry. Between permits and such on my own authority it’s about 5K just for all that another 5K for down payment on insurance plus 1300/mo I’m thinking i want to lease for a year, save up, then go back on my own. Who will lease to a CA driver. Have my own truck and a reefer but will haul dry also. OTR is fine, it’s what we’re doing now.

I should also mention, I’d like to hear what costs the leasing company will cover. That will definitely help me make a decision

That's a tough one for me because I've never been an 0/0.
I'd be speculating about an area of trucking that's not area of my expertise.
Maybe look at Roadrunner Temperature Controlled.

We take CA based O/O's and drivers. Works out well because we only run a few lanes. WI to CA and back is one of them.
