Leasing with J&R Schugel

    Does any one have any info on the company I'M thinking about making a change been aproved just trying to get some info I might be doing the lease thing seemed prety good. Any recent info would be great how's itgoing going with your experience so far

    I know right just got the same #s not a good lease plan at all

    You guys love running on the cheap!Company makes 3 plus a mile you get 1.00 plus all the expenses,smh!

    I used to work there some years ago and rates were slightly lower . They still had tons of people leasing .

    The only thing that was kind of neat was the ability to do a 6 month lease just to try it out and see if it is even possible to net more money than a company driver .

    It's not for me though !!

    90 cents for deadhead isn't bad. it's the loaded miles I have a problem with especially with a reefer I have pulled 1 load this year under 2.00 ..... most are 3.00 or 4.00 ... that's just people that don't do there homework .... with company drivers pay getting up over 50 cents your going to be making less .... should be up to 1.40 at least .... hopefully they are getting a fuel surcharge on top of that pay

    They do get a fuel surcharge but just thinking about all that detention at customers gives me a headache . Hopefully if you lease with them you can do a Kraft dedicated (mostly drop/hook) to get rid of the hours of waste

    Drop and hook is the only way to fly, unless you get serious detention.
