    I’m looking to leave crst still under the contract. But I’m willing to make payments to them for their school. Will they take my license or some ########. I’m going back to construction

    no, they cannot take back your CDL.

    all they can do if you do not pay back the loan, is put a black mark on your credit.

    just have a sit down talk with them before you leave, as this will show them you're a man that can stand up and be respected, rather than a stumble bum, they will mess with.

    The non-compete clause I hear they have in their contract is unenforceable. Your cdl is yours.

    CRSTs contract comes up a lot on this site, it’s your license they can’t take it from you. I agree with Buddy talk to them about it.

    I avoided them because I've read horror stories about the contract, whether they can enforce the non-compete or not, I didn't even want to bother with it. I wouldn't stress, they definitely cannot take away your CDL. I would recommend paying them off though, for sure. Just keep in touch with them.
