And even if he didn't know his intentions, highly unlikely, he has been very consistent in stating his personal knowledge of the construction zone, speed limit in said construction zone, and the quickly arriving merger of the two lanes.
I may not "know his intentions" but I sure as heck want to minimize and avoid the situation unfolding before me.
But that's just me being a defensive driver.
Offensive drivers opt to do things differently.

Not sure how you are getting that anyone here is "admiring his outlaw spirit" and if anything many of us are actually taking the safety aspect up to yet a higher level than you are.
So, if we disagree with you and critique your actions in the clip and dare to suggest that both drivers could have done things differently, then we are fully backing the "outlaw spirit" of the other driver... Flawed Logic.
So here, take another sip of the safety koolaid and join us in promoting yet another aspect of safety... That of defensive driving... LOL
I must admit it's rather entertaining at this point to see you twisting things to make it seem like anyone here is supporting the driver in the left hand lane.scottied67 and Blackshack46 Thank this. -
Personally, I would have maintained my lane and legal speed, and let the moron deal with it.
Making too many concessions to these jerks encourages them to continue doing this. Most truckers drive no better than 4 wheelers. Smile when you do something stupid, you may be on dash cam.scottied67 Thanks this. -

Instead I named it "Will Not...." so that the title imagines what the JCT driver is thinking; his mindset, if you will. I imagine this driver has always "won" in life,
At 15 on the junior varsity football team, one crisp fall Friday night, he managed to score two touchdowns in one game. This led to a date and three week relationship with the prom queen's best friend." Man, she had some soft thighs, if only I had used some defensive driving techniques that night, man that would have been glorious." he reminisced.
Then in the summer he started his first job at the local fast food establishment, dropping out of school six months before graduation to work full time. At age 20 he finally got his GED so he could move up to assistant manager. Having been stuck in that position for 12 years became a truck driver. "How hard can it be?, he asked himself, "there are so many inefficiencies out here to exploit like speed limits and work zones, if I speed through those areas i can make more money and won't my old bosses at Kentucky Mcfried Taco King back home be jealous of me then..." \\
One day out driving the big truck this driver discovers a neat little trick. Get up next to another big truck and fake/veer into them and they magically back off and let me in. Wow, he could make up a lot of time by doing this 10-12 times a day to get in front of other big trucks. Especially those pesky trucks doing the exact legal speed limit.Last edited: Mar 2, 2016
