W9 / 359 / 379, N14, 3406C mechanical, KT, or even a silver 92. 13 / 18 / or 6x4 would suite me just fine….

W900 or 379 pre 2005 electronics, pre 2000 dash, any 3400 series Cat, N-14 or 12.7/14 liter Detroit. I’ve only ever sat in one Western Star……never drove it…had horrible leg room but if Western Star ever built a truck with as much leg room as a 379, I’d consider one as well with the aforementioned features.
Big Road Skateboard, diesel guy454, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this. -
The 1984 Autocar AT64F I use to drive long ago was a good looking truck in my opinion, and had decent leg room. Wouldn’t mind having one today….
MACK E-6, Ok big boy, Sons Hero and 9 others Thank this. -
See I want a Full size Coranado with an un-neutered DD15. Those coronados always looked sharp
I want Detroit all the way, in my experience, cheaper than Cat to maintain. 18 speed.
Not as much power, but gimme a gray block over yella if I'm buying the parts.
I gotta go big displacement single turbo -
Electric Cascadia…..thank you
ElmerFudpucker, Sons Hero, Rugerfan and 3 others Thank this. -
International lonestar, catpre emissions C-18 600hp, 18 speed trans, the convertable bed/sofa premium interior with the extra cabnets. 3.55 gear ratio. Dual use wetkit, green apu, cattle guard and custom paint job, fixed end dump holland 5th wheel reinforced frame, doors with the wing mirrors. Intergrated starlink internet. And full bridgestone 22.5R11s
Or a 1948 pete 351 with an A model or an old cummins under the hood.tarheelsfan105 and motocross25 Thank this. -
Independent front suspension, lift axel with self steer, Air bagged with Koni shocks. Tyre pressure monitoring, diver's seat memory for 2 drivers, adjustable steering column with tilt steering wheel. Climate control air. Kenwood 6 speaker sound with sub and car play. Pull down sun visors on screen and doors. Adaptive driving lights with cornering but toned down to 4500 lumens.
Kenworth SAR styling smoothed out and the cab as wide as the truck. 4 point sprung cab. Single windscreen with 3 wipers, water dispensed from the blades. No exhaust, air cleaners, mirrors etc. Aero styling along the chassis for looks and ease of cleaning. For my application I only need a day cab and 200 mile so electric will do. 330Kw or 450HP. 8 or 10 speed manualised auto on the column. Internal A pillar mirrors, all that ABS, Traction, Stability, Adaptive Cruise, Emergency stopping, Hill start jargon but manually and selectively disarmed or muted.
30,000 mile servicing. Local servicing that works into the evenings. Lots or parts available locally, and parts not priced so they are 10+ times what a completed truck is worth.KDHCryo Thanks this. -
My wheelbase needs to be at 265". minimum, and that's only for driver comfort.
None of this 255" maximum crap. We gave up Cabovers in the 90's -
I agree I want T600 Aero but not 579 Aerosjaffles Thanks this.
