I have tendons that are severely torn. Wear the brace very tight, even while sleeping. It took 2 years for me left arm to get better and now I have torn the right side. The Ortho Doc told me that it is due to overuse and surgery has a lengthy recovery. Try the brace shown, I have tried them all and this one seems to work best, Doc told me to keep it very tight and place the cushioning pad on top of the sore area. Just a thought to maybe help you along and still keep functioning, yours might be different but it is worth a try.
