Howdy guys, first post but this is something that I have struggled with.
I can get great loads going everywhere, got a group of clients that treat me pretty well and can't complain here in Texas. But I find myself not being aggressive with future freight because I cannot reliably tell if I can make it somewhere to load because of wait times at pipe yards, traffic or any of the other reasons that delay trucks. So my question to ya'll is do you have a technique for lining up work for the week or am I being too critical of something that I can't control?

I thought about that also. I try to focus on my clients freight first. Sometimes you can pickup better stuff when you are ready, let it come to you. Also no added stress in thinking about missing delivery time.
