Needing opinions about all the different CDL programs in and around metro ATL area. Could you include price, your experience, financing options, length of program, etc. Already visited katlaw and dalys. Any more?

I would look into going to a community college. I went to West Georgia Tech. I qualified for the Hope and paid 200 dollars.

I think without Hope it is around 1900 dollars. I like the fact that they offered a night class. I was able to work during the day full time and go to school at night. That’s what I really liked about it.

But most are kind of scammy
Some are only two weeks long
It take two weeks just to learn most of the logbook and paperwork
Another couple weeks for backing into docks
And another three or four of highway driving which should include at least one week of driving at night -
