    Hello fellow drivers,

Does anyone have information on replacing AGM batteries with lithium on the Parksmart APU all electrical on a 22 FL CASCADIA? Read some information says if they are Drop in, you can. But, also read that hit depends on who charges the batteries. AGM starting batteries and APU lithium might be a problem

    thanks in advance

Last parksmart's I had before switching to APU was 17-18's They had a electrical switch that charged the truck batteries first and then switched to the parksmart batteries.

I'm running 4x Litime 100AH lithiums as a direct replacement for AGM's on my 2020 cascadia. Have for the last 2 years, charge directly off the alternator.

The only thing noteworthy is you'll probably have to rewire some things, as they have different terminals, and they won't charge under 40 degrees farenhiet unless you buy self heating batteries.

Otherwise no problems, my installl can be viewed with pics in Siinman's thread...

I have Volvo but not the park smart set up.
I did look into something similar but not sure It will work right. Problem is that lithiums do not lower the voltage like a AGM does as they are used. They just die but keeps same amps and so it might not be able to work because of that issue.

I think it will work still if truck batteries stay AGM and the lithium is just in the APU bank if the APU is set up on the main battery truck bank. Will need to make sure they have a heater pad for those batteries or built in heaters.
