Hello I have 47k pounds of turkey parts that I was taking to a dog food plant. It was refused cause the load shifted foward after having to lock brakes. I am getting no help from shipper nor receiver on were to dispose of this load. I am in the Hazelton PA area wanting to head towards Cincinnati. Any help would be appreciated.
Load of refused turkey parts, what now?

I do not. I wish I did.

Contact the person who gave you the load. Get the name of the receiver that rejected the load. Make sure you get a new rate con for the disposition of the load.Follow up all phone conversations with an email. Make sure you know who you are talking to, their position and the time of the conversation. Contact your insurance carrier and make them aware of the situation as this may result in a cargo claim.

Yes we are already past that. The claim has been filed. I am awaiting insurance to let me know if they will be responsible for disposal cost. At this point no one is willing to offer a place to dispose of the raw turkey parts.
