Will do. I was thinking that a stainless
Steel or plastic door could be fabricated
    And connected with either rivets
Or hinges, with a loop on the door and on the truck. A Padlock would go thru the
Loops and provide a bit of extra safety
    And security.

A pricier Option no doubt, but if you’re handy or know someone who works at, or owns a shop, that would keep the price really low. You could probably get the parts from Home Depot for 20 or 30 bucks.

If you unlock and remove one cap you can lock it while its off and move to the next cap. You have to unlock it again to put it back on. Once you get used to it it won't be a big deal. Hopefully they are all keyed the same so you don't have a heavy keychain to sort through.

Hmmm.... on my pickup the locking cap will go on without the key while in the locked position. I don't if yours works that way but it's is easy to try it.
