Since I started 3 months ago, I have been doing a seperate vehicle inspection form. My first couple of weeks, I was 12 hr/100 mile exempt, so that is all I had to do.
I recently got a pack of log book pages that have the vehicle inspection at the bottom of the log page. It is just one box to check, in contrast to the seperate one I have been doing where every single item is checked. Also, they don't have the time and odometer fields.
My question is, are the legal to use for vehicle inspections?

It's covered under 396.11. Instead of bringing it all here go there and read it.

Click on "Guidance" afterwards and read the related Q&A too. -

as long as you sign that it is done all is good. -
If you ever go into Canada, technically you should have the long form to make them happy.
