Hi People,
I started running for Long Island dealers. If anyone familiar will get what I am talking about.
I have New York Ez-pass and I cannot get why Throgs neck bridge sometimes charges me $12 and sometimes $22, same with George Washington Bridge, sometimes $68 and sometimes $62.
Do not even try to recommend me calling their customer service

Now, first I thought it was rush hour and off rates, then I checked statement and there is no some kind of logic cause I was getting low rates during rush hour and high rates midnight.
One thought is that I entered Long Island from Connecticut side and may be that is what matters? -
What do you have your ezpass registered for? Same axle weight count as what you're actually pulling? Some lanes have axle/weight counters and charge "what you use" vs what you're transponder shows.
Throgs Neck is the Throgs neck, regardless of what direction you come from before that. -
You should not say anything or they will charge you for their mistake.
It's just Unarmed robbery. -
Trucko, you are a genius, you are running the most profitable lane in the US.
Congrats on a new venue. Now you are a real businessman -
It's based on time of day and also height. If you get the ezpass assuming that your truck has 2 axels and the trailer had 3. It would be the car hauler 5l if it's under 7 ft tall I believe. The height the time of day the axel count and the proper classification all can change the rate.
