Looking at finally buying my own truck. I know a person selling 2014 cornado glider kit, Purchase the truck brand new has all records. Never had any really bad issues with the truck, kept clean and maintained. Truck has 750k on it , looking to get 40-50k out of it.

Your funeral. Used Freightliners can be nothing but trouble. Trucks with that kind of mileage, ESPECIALLY Freightliners, from my experience, will nickel and dime you to death. I'd go with a KW. Better trucks, better dealers, and some sort of resale.

Sounds like it is the same as buying a factory truck with 750K, like turning wrenches every weekend?

    201 Thanks this.

I would recommend a THOROUGH Pre Purchase inspection including an Oil Analysis. I wouldn't purchase a 1 year old truck with 100,000 miles without one. Several hundred dollars up front can potentially save you TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in repairs. $50,000 truck plus $30,000 in repairs and you end up with a truck that may only be worth 15-20K. Be VERY CAREFUL!

    baha Thanks this.

$40-50k is insane. IMO,20k if it doesn’t need much.

    baha and 201 Thank this.
