Eagle will lease you a dub-9 but I wouldn't want the pmt or the fuel bill.

I truly do not understand the mentality of the new breed of truck drivers. I have been driving for 31 years and owner operator for 18. I just bought my first pete a year and a half ago and only because it was a really good deal. if all you want is the pretty truck you will be very disappointed in the paycheck. becoming an owner operator is more then just saying I own that, it is a business and a career decision that should not be taken lightly. I have done very well owning my own equipment and would not drive a company truck again, but with that said my first truck was a freightliner and my next 7 were freightliners or internationals. the paycheck was more important then the hood. now that I am 54 my family is grown and I can finally afford the hood I bought it but it took a lot of sacrifice and hard work to get to this point. all of you new drivers want everything handed to you on a silver platter. try the trucks with no power steering or a 55 mph speed limit nationally or 90 percent of all trucks were cab overs. no a/c no creature comforts. do that for a while then call yourself a truck driver not just a steering wheel holder.

I actually called the number for the add that was in Reading Pennsylvania on Craigslist. everything seem to be a good deal except for now the last two text messages have gone unanswered. I'm thinking their contract negotiations have fallen through

Its a good thing that technology and the marketplace has come a long way since the dark ages huh?

Last I checked Celedon's lease purchase is through Quality Leasing, a third party lease agency. After 6 months with the oriningating lease company, you can go wherever you want to go that works with Quality Leasing, including Mercer.
