True...and they don't seem to want to mess with the bigger stuff...with Schneider, at least there at the end, only O/O's had RGN's....the rest of us had step decks.
Maverick did upgrade the trailers in 2008 and 2009 to RGN's...they have their eye on a certain part of the market.

Stay away from ATS!!! Everything has gone to crap here!!! After 1 January 2014, the grandchildren of "Mr. Anderson" (God rest his soul), took over operations. Just call us "J.B. Hunt."

Heavy haul steers are rated 20k lbs and 65 mph. Blowouts suck.

I hate every company I've ever worked for. I keep my nose to the stone and out of the crack. I did a l/p with sammons/DSV and finished it pretty quick. It was pure LUCK, any major maintenance and I'd still be paying. You have to be a mechanic and keep up on stuff, or know a GOOD mechanic if you get a used truck; doesn't hurt for a new truck either.

Keep your fuel and maintenance costs as low as you can, buy good parts/tires. Being an O/O isn't rocket surgery, but it takes a conscious effort and a lot of work to save money, where saving money makes sense.

HH... good luck! I do it when they cajole me, otherwise I take the easy way.
