I'm looking to hit the road again in September and run all over the West. Curious if you folks can point me to a valid and legit carrier. I'm experienced, educated, and clean. FAST card, no tickets, always scale right, etc etc.. No pets, don't smoke, never failed a drug test. So, I want a pro outfit to work with, I'm tired of the monkey business. Fleet size don't matter. Plz help, thanks.

Sounds like your over qualified and have high expectations for a Lower mainland carrier . Many look for the same thing out there hopefully you get lucky. Only one I’d consider is ihaul if I lived there.

Indeed, but I'm not letting down as I believe we should all have strong ethics and aim to push the bar higher. All I've been noticing is the bar getting lowered and now it's on the floor so you just walk over it. This is a shame for the industry. I expect a lot, but I offer a lot in return, that's fair.

Thanks mate, that's 2 for iHaul now. Tripple 8 I've heard of as well, Abby outfit, will investigate.

IHaul and ERB are the 2 best OTR companies in Canada IMHO (Either company or O/O)

Triple 8 is the mafia, literally....search their name no here and read every post. The longest I've ever seen someone last at Triple 8, was 3 months.

Sadly they have no work, everyone I knew there is gone, couldn't survive.

They've definitely slowed down a bit but I've got a couple friends there that are still putting in decent miles. They are having some issues right now. Not sure if they are hiring for Abbotsford right now? Last I heard, the new driver training had stopped.

I'm with Challenger in Abby. We had a bit of a slow down but to be honest it didn't last long. Right now I can pretty much pick what I want to run.

I think our training is stopped right now cause of all this COVID crap.

    BigHossVolvo Thanks this.
