Melonie, i just applied and was accepted at both swift and millis, i am going with millis school is in ohio and runs mostly midwest and southeast i believe, east of the mississippi anyway. Swift runs all 48 i believe and they have a big terminal right off of cline ave in gary. take cline get off chicago ave going east dead ends right into it . they were nice let you walk around and talk to anyone you wanted. i was approved to start with swiftr on jan 8th but just got the go ahead from millis and think i will go with them. good luck, and cre is right down the borman but alot of negatives here but thats all on here in the different threads. look at the the motor carriers section and start there, Roehl is also a good looking one but was told no why they couldnt tell me but they could tell me no goood luck to you

Melonie- Saw your post about Schneider- same thing happened to me. I was supposed to start training in Dec. then my recruiter called and said all training is on hold til next year. My recruiter didn't really go into alot of detail about why the training was put on hold. Well, hang in there.

Well there is also drivers solutions that can get you over the hump but all the companies they push you towards are all on freeze....they have a few schools in indiana one is in indianapolis and i thought there was one in ft wayne or something but I could be wrong. Good luck on finding anything right now...werner and crst told me they need people and want bodies in the truck...but I hear bad things about werner and then CRST only does teams which I am not intrested in. I want to be able to walk off the truck here and there...I know DOT foods is in ohio off of 70 cant remember what town it was in but they are hiring drivers..i dont know if they train though.
