Looking for advise , unusuall situation

    The key here is the GVWR. At 33k this is a class B truck. Will need proper registration for that class.
    This is also a for hire type arrangement, even if it’s a barter deal. The driver would need all of the documentation as any for hire operations.

    That said, not to promote unlawful activities, but it may be the best time to try and run it as is.

    I think an individual can still drive a 33k truck as personal use, as long as he has a CDL. Class B, with air brakes endorsement, if so equipped.

    Would think that if it has air brakes, at least a class B to drive, even if personal vehicle.
    Some states are requiring an upgraded license for the big motorhomes now.

    Plate it under what is anything close to CdL , have insurance, don't have any illegal stuff in the truck, you are hauling your own furniture, period. Not unusual to see straight trucks pulled over though, so have your story straight.
