Looking for company to repower engine

    I need to repower my engine and am looking for company/vendor that can do so. It is a 2004 freighliner with a Mercedes engine switch to Cummins 12 valve or Detriot DD 13. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

    12 valve Cummins? In a Columbia????

    You're about 6-7 liters shy on displacement with a 12 valve. Ain't gonna work worth a crap IMO.

    Even if it was hopped up enough to pull 60-80k it'd be ready for a complete rebuild every year or so.
