Use the search above... plenty of info on them. And yes they are a good company. If hadn't been for my issues with a certain manager. I would probably still be there.

I am an owner op for them. I really like working here and at my terminal the company drivers seem happy. A couple are in the process of buying rigs so they must like it here also. I think it is probably what you make of it.

Can somebody elaborate? I tried asking the recruiter and he seemed pretty clueless.

If you want someone to elaborate on the insurance for company drivers, I suggest you contact HQ in California and have some one in HR explain the benefits package to you.

I guess it depends what quality of insurance you are accustomed to before you can determine if it is better or worse than you have now.

The health insurance is above average and is provided at no cost to the driver. Insurance for family members is offered at a good rate. H&A is a good company. If you are self motivated and are able to figure things out independently you will be successful.

Not sure if HR would talk to me since I'm not a employee. I might shoot them a email and see if I can get more info. i was just surprised the recruiter didnt know much, you'd think they would get that question 100 times a day.

Well Maybe Richard Dunn could give you the specifics or maybe Big Bob can. I don't know anything about the company drivers insurance, but I really doubt it is much different than what most other companies offer for insurance. There is a benefits person that should be able to explain to you what you would get should you come to work for H&A. Most people would want that information before changing jobs and I think the company would understand your need for the information.

I talked to a H&R person and they filled me in on the health coverage. I think its competitive within the trucking industry.
