    Hey everyone,

Posting this for my husband, who’s a truck driver with lots of experience. He’s done it all—dry box, tanker (fuel and food grade), reefer, drove hopper, and even car hauling. No tickets or violations, completely clean record. Right now, he’s with Indian River Transportation, but it’s been a frustrating experience.

The miles are all over the place—one week, he’s getting 3,000 miles, and the next, he’s barely hitting 1,000. They claim they’ll pay for sitting more than 24 hours, but most of the time, that doesn’t happen. And the dispatch and load planners? Let’s just say the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing half the time.

He’s looking for a better company with:
    • Consistent miles (2,500+ per week)
    • Competent dispatchers and planners
    • Good pay (no games, just fair compensation)
    • Open to local, regional, or OTR routes
If you know of any companies hiring or have suggestions, we’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi thank you for the message. Do you know what their general weekly pay is?

Also, do you happen to know what the speed governor is set at for the company trucks?

Thank you for your help. We really appreciate it.

Can't help you. I haven't worked for any of those companies. I looked into them some time ago, but wasn't a good fit for me.

    sherrieef Thanks this.
