Yep and the same things goes there too. It’s a choice to have pride in your equipment and make sure everything is clean but then you also have guys with black marks all over everything because they leave their gloves on and touch everything.

You should be close enough to Jackson Ms Nissan and Dallas Tx GM to be able to get regular traffic past Northern Louisiana. These are the first people I would talk to since they train and also pay very well in most locations. They have more freight than any other carhaul company. After you got carhaul experience you could possibly do better in some locations but sometimes United Road is top in pay. I would go ahead and call a recruiter and see what lanes they have that may work for your hometime and what trucking experience they require. IMG_7900.png

I don’t know this guy, but he does know how to haul cars, make money and get home most every weekend. You could probably learn something about that company and lanes passing through La from him. IMG_7901.png

Well.....6 months is no experience for real. If the money isn't there with TMC, we gotta figure out why. Is your dispatcher a crappy one? Are you using your clock efficiently? Are you running your miles correctly? Those are unanswered questions. Some folks will say 6 months is enough time to move on to better companies, but it really isn't. You haven’t even begun to scratch the surface yet. Your perception is right if moving to PGT feels like a lateral move. Just about any movement in your first year is most likely a lateral move. The other guys hit the nail on the head about gaining more experience, a year would be good, 2 even better. I'll add on this, while you may think you have a "pretty good swing on things," you can always be better. You spoke highly on TMC, so before you begin job hopping so early, I think you should evaluate yourself and see what you can do to be better. Thats part of the gaining experience process.
