I think we finally have this problem straightened out. The owners of the truck seem to be fine now since we are mailing the payments a day early. Besides, the contract clearly states we have a grace period of 10 days. She does occasionally send a receipt of all the payments that have been made to date, so I do have proof of that. I believe they do own the truck outright, but still owe on repairs that were made to it before we bought it.
