Looking for suggestions...... 40' bridge rule

    The problem is these driving schools don't teach nothing, and the majority of drivers don't care enough to educate themselves.

    My rule is don't worry about bridges less than 40 feet...

    I had no idea what it was. Never had to worry about any of it till i hauled 8 axles across oregon and got stopped for oregon bridge. 13 years in to my cdl.

    Dude there is an entire section dedicated to it in the front of every rand mcnally map. Absolutely no excuse for ignorance.

    As well as the Oregon extended weight permit. Those attachments should explain that sort of thing pretty well I'm thinking.

    Easy to know when you're experienced. Not so much a beginner.

    And when the office says you're totally legal. To which i was for any state but oregon.

    Least i didn't have to pay the fine. I made the office pay it.

    So using this same method and taking a 10' measurement from inside the door, I could make a mark on the inside walls approximately where the 40' position is for shippers?

    Again, my trailer is not marked in any way....
