    Looking for a shot in the oil fields to make some decent money limited class a experience did the CR England get your cdl and had a bad experience that’s why I only have 3 months class a, can anyone point me to where I may have a chance Texas is where I would perfer

    Whatever company you go with make sure they have housing. I used to live in west Texas and the rent is outrageous when the oilfield is booming. I stayed in a hotel on my own expense for 6 months during the last boom

    I think Stephens Transport will hire you .. they do general freight and frac sand ..they are hiring like crazy in east TX for sand haulers .

    Stevens just gave me the boot after saying everything looked good and they were fine with the class b experience then after the get my bus ticket then they say I need 6 months of tractor trailer experience

    I drive for a hauling contractor, hallliburton folks have hinted that they're hiring. Suggest looking at bulk, you can use that anywhere, sand and that fine stuff on the oilfield, cement, flyash etc everywhere else. Meanwhile get tanker and haz if you don't have them, i got sent out to run acid the other day with senior people sitting because i have the X.
