I’m in Anniston, AL. Pulling vans out of Honda in Lincoln. I have 10+ years experience, clean mvr, been on current job 6.5 years. I’m trying to find a way to get onto the car hauling side. I tried Hansen and they don’t have anything right now. I’m looking for regional or possibly local. I prefer an outfit that runs day cabs as I don’t miss sleeping in truck but I’m open to be flexible. I’ve scanned the forums.any info or advice would be appreciated. Pulling this van is rather monotonous and I’d rather be active and increase earning potential. Virginia is the major hauler out of Lincoln but they said they wasn’t training right now as well

If you haven't done so, already...
look at Hogan Transportation:
Driver Opportunities – Drive 4 Hogan
They have a car haul division -- that hires/trains drivers new to that sector.
They also pay BY THE HOUR. VER-RY NICE way to get started, IMO.
@Banker may offer a better suggestion or two than that.

Honda in Lincoln is generally very good paying freight for all that haul there. C.A.R. Transport from Burleson Tx has a fairly large terminal there. I don’t know if they train either. You may have to find a location that is hiring with a company that trains and work there until an opportunity opens up in Lincoln. United Road often gets a bad rap but some of their locations pay really well and they train.

@Banker @lual thanks guys for the response. I actually seen hogan at the 165 pilot yesterday. I had to check him out because I’d never seen top rack to close to roof of car. I put an application in with united road and us auto logistics. 1 year isn’t anything I will bite the bullet and run OTR for a year if that’s the plan
