Looking to Talk with Truckers for Short Documentary

Hi Everyone,

I’m Kayla Casey, a young filmmaker from New York. I’m fairly new to this forum, but have been reading some of the threads in research for a short documentary I’m currently working on with two other filmmakers about how the trucking industry affects the people behind the wheel and how it’s an undervalued industry as a whole. I’m posting here because while I’m not a trucker, I’m extremely interested in learning more about the day to day experiences of truck drivers.

We’re currently looking for truckers that would be interested in taking some time out of your (no-doubt busy) schedule to chat with us and tell us your stories and experiences. It doesn’t matter if you just started or have over 20 years of experience, we’re looking for a wide range of experiences to get a bigger scope of the industry and learn as much as we can.

Meeting with us would not require being on camera or being in the documentary, but we would love to discuss that more if anyone would like to be involved in that as well.
