Bad EGR cooler or cracked liner or a blown injector cup. If you aren't seeing fuel in the coolant recovery tank then it's most likely a bad EGR cooler.

Check for coolant in the intake by removing the crossover pipe that goes between the intake and the EGR cooler.

It can also be an internal failure in the air compressor, but I think that's not too common.

Now that ive looked at it good, ie: not side of highway. It seems that leak maybe top of radiator under resevior. The other truck (which was assembled right before it according to vin) did same thing. A couple thousand miles out of warranty. I get diagnosis in a few..

But you're seeing bubbles in the recovery tank? Pressure in the radiator can cause the radiator to fail and start leaking.

Radiator at top of fins, bottom of top. So new radiator. Company bought 3 freightliners 5 years ago and radiators blew nearly same spot in all 3

Air compressor or head gasket pressurizing the coolant. Have a combustion gas in coolant test done and isolate the cooling system from the air compressor and retest.
