Maybe turbo actuator for the wastegate working intermittently? Getting stuck partially open? Big maybe.

Random loss of power is electrical. if you can get data the ecm is seeing I'd watch boost pressure and throttle position.
Seen fuel pick tube have a hold mid way up, truck would loose power and stumble when about half a tank and making turns

    Rideandrepair and 4noReason Thank this.

My 12.7 once was randomly losing power and then coming back, like a light switch on and off. Turned out to be the turbo boost pressure sensor connector was corroded. $2k at the dealer found nothing, few phone calls to the right guy, few minutes in the parking lot, and haven't had the problem since, now 4 years at least. And it Never threw a code.

    4noReason and Rideandrepair Thank this.
