Stay far away from the northeast regional manager. Other areas might not be as bad, but you'll do more for free here than they'll pay you to do. Hours and hours sitting in the shop..no pay...spend half the day going from terminal to terminal looking for fuel...no pay..theyll expect you to fix things on their trucks..no pay..they say they have a weekly minimum pay..1125 for 50 hours and 5 days..if you make 1125 in 4 days and spend the 5th day in the shop, looking for fuel allocation, or broke down, or whatever outside of your control reason you can't haul fuel and make money....no pay..not a dime..the health insurance is a joke..most all the benefits are a joke..id love to hear from other gemini drivers past and present about their experiences with this lying company and/or idiot manager.

Are you ok?
The chain is called loves. That means Tom and his staff loves you.
What's ta matter, you didn't get a free nights stay in one of his new hotels? -
The loves guys I see at US Oil generally never had anything good to say about it.

Hauling fuel that seems low pay? I make $1500 before taxes hauling potatoes.

I too used to work for the ne regional manager, and agree he's a complete douche bag. I worked there for 4yrs, and was making significantly less my 4th year than my first year, not $10-15 a week less, more like $100-200 a week less. Several times he said he'd pay me for extra work I did and never followed through. The times he did follow through, it was much less than what he said he would pay me. Stay away from this place, you can make more money panhandling than hauling fuel for Loves.

Wow!
Really surprised here guys.
I mean, Loves is a top notch outfit that really models itself upon looking after the customer - as in - the trucks that fuel there.
You know - by providing adequate parking . . . . laundry facilities . . . . full service restaurants . . . .
Their tire facilities are top notch and trustworthy . . . .
They wouldn't dip their toes into the murky waters of such things like . . . . factoring . . . . either -
Amazed they don't pay their lifeblood workers well . . . .
(OK, so the sarcasm is dripping off this one pretty heavy)joshuapowell61, meechyaboy, Lav-25 and 7 others Thank this. -
I recently got fed up with the loves game and some of the low class clientele they attract .
I quit buying fuel from them and my day is much less stressful for it .FredZeppelin77, intrepidor, wore out and 2 others Thank this. -
A minimum pay truck driving job is a easy way
For company to get a driver to do all the #### work
That he wouldn't otherwise do.
Once you take that gaurenteed minimum pay
You gave up the right to say NO. -
blairandgretchen Thanks this.
